ADSB 2025

2025 had some unique rare aircraft as well as the more common aircraft. Dutch AH64's, Cougars, Chinooks, PC7's, C130's and (MRTT) A330's are all very common and can be seen sometimes every day. US KC135's, C17's, C130's and C5's enroute Ramstein are also common.

Other transports and recce flights are these days also fairly normal - like US RC135's and French Atlantique 2's; as well as British A400's and A330's and German C130's.

Just a small part of 2025 aircraft passing overhead which were visible on ADSB and I was able to photograph:

French Atlantique 2 returning from a Baltic Sea patrol; fairly common.

Canadian CL601 on Eindhoven arrival for memorials.

A Qatari Airbus A340 passing overhead as a government Royal Qatar flight. To the right a more uncommon Portuguese P3 Orion passing overhead returning from a (long during) Baltic Sea patrol flight.

Two Ukrainian An124 heavy haulers overhead - one flying high towards the UK and another one flying low and slow on approach of Eindhoven airbase. Two Wildcats photographed flying towards Gilze-Rijen airbase, part of a three-ship.

The usual RC135 'Jake 17' flights making one of their (many) trips to and from Mildenhall(UK) flying SIGINT/ recce missions towards the Baltics, Crimea and Belarusia. To the right C130 Hercules activitiy, also at night, during Eindhoven exercises.

A very uncommon aircraft: a Turkish E7 Wedgetail flying AWACS missions during the Leeuwarden exercise Ramstein Flag 2025 - it flew sorties for several days. Another nice appearance was a US Navy P8 Poseidon passing overhead - these always fly without registration on ADSB but I was able to identify it by departure and arrival times/ airbases at the fightercontrol.co.uk forum. The DC3 Dakota N151ZE was temporarily in Europe from CONUS for D-Day and Dakota commemorations.

A common Dutch (special) Police AW139 helicopter, which can sometimes be seen flying many patterns during search parties. A US Navy C130 departing Eindhoven airbase and a fairly common Lithuanian C27J. To the right a very rare Argentinian (!) C130 passing overhead.

A French C130 and a USAF SOC MC130 from Mildenhall - which can sometimes also be seen flying overhead without active ADSB transponders. To the right a fairly common Spanish Airbus A310.

MRTT A330's, based at Eindhoven airbase, can be seen a couple of times per month. Sometimes they are returning from CONUS - in this case trailing Belgian F16's enroute back home from a US exercise!

The two A330's beneath  departed North America from two very different bases - ending up on Eindhoven approach very closely of each other!
