Very rare aircraft types crossing Woensdrecht airbase at medium altitude were a pair of aircraft carrier based C2A Greyhounds! During the July 2023 period the USS Gerald R. Ford was stationed in the North Sea and surrounding area's suporting the large scale Air Defender 2023 exercise. Both Greyhounds were regularly flying with RG1 and RG2 callsigns between their carrier and many shore based stations. the photograph above on the right is just for reference only and is published on Jetphotos.net by Paul Buchroder.
