Bayeux museum

 

The Bayeux Museum is part of three museums in Bayeux, the other two museums cover other interests – tapestry and ancient paintings. It is located close to the Normandy D-Day beaches and it covers all operations and beaches of D-Day. (click on the banner below for the museum website:)

Tanks which participated in the Normandy battles. The Churchill tank is a so called Crocodile flamethrower version with the fuel pipe visible at the rear.
